CMMS Data Group’s MVP Plant has once again been selected as a winner for Plant Engineering’s Product of the Year award, as a result of the company’s commitment to deliver the best CMMS software product available on the market today to its end-users.
The Product of the Year program focuses on new products which have been released or had a new release within the last year. The program opens voting to qualified readers, who ultimately determine the winners from each category. Plant Engineering will announce the winners online in April 2020 and feature them in their May 2020 print issue.
MVP Plant’s latest version now supports in-line and batch editing, enabling quick edits in the List view for single and grouped items. Instead of having to load each record individually, users can now instantly update multiple items at the same time, and they love it!
Added calendar functionality was also introduced, giving users a visual tool to efficiently manage and schedule their organization’s maintenance tasks. Within the calendar, users can schedule work orders by drag and drop, edit work order data, and view work order schedules by day, week, or month.
The new GIS asset management mapping feature lets users view a work order’s physical location which is helpful to organizations maintaining spatial assets in industries such as electric, oil and gas, transportation, utilities, municipalities, government, etc.
Additionally, users can now create and assign custom fields within the Assets, Purchasing, and Work modules, giving them a simple and effective way to gather maintenance information relevant to their specific organization / industry.
MVP Plant Mobile CMMS makes it easy to view asset hierarchies from a phone, tablet, or other enabled mobile device, ensuring users can easily find the physical location of equipment, repairable spares, and other assets.
These features enhance the user experience by providing new ways to quickly view and update data. The result is a more streamlined workflow, helping end-users save time and money by working more productively and efficiently.
“Of the new version, we took to heart the feedback that we received from MORE! 2019, our annual maintenance and reliability conference, and implemented solutions designed to fulfill customer requests and make the end-user experience more streamlined than ever!
